The pets that we care for each have their own personality, uniquely different in every way… just like people! They are loving and joyful when we come!!
My pet sitter team is made up of very loving, honest, reliable, professional sitters who take the responsibility of caring for beloved pets as a privilege and honor.
When we walk pups, we require that they are always on a leash, so other pups are avoided and waste clean up is a must.
On a typical walk, we ensure that the pups have an enjoyable time outside while staying within their behavior boundaries.
We always provide courtesy home care which includes bringing in the mail/ newspaper, alternating lights, opening and closing blinds, watering plants, filling bird feeders, scooping litter boxes and bring out/in the trash and recycling bins.
For our furry friends besides giving lots of love, rubs and kisses, we also feed as instructed, provide fresh water and plenty of playtime. As required we also administer medications or provide vitamins.
Our best experiences are all the wonderful pets and people that we feel blessed to know!!
My tip is that having a professional pet sitter to care for your beloved pet in their own home is the best way to go!!!

About My Business
Welcome to Home on the Range Pet Sitting LLC. My name is Kelley Richie, and I would like to share some of my background with you. First and foremost, I love animals! Dogs have been a big part of my life since my parents bought our first dog when I was four. Although I’ve had at least one dog in my life ever since, there has been a variety of other pets in my life, including cats, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, rabbits, and ferrets.
German Shorthair Pointers have been my primary breed for many years. My husband & I currently have 4 German Shorthair Pointers “fur kids and 1 cat”
I have worked in the Heavy Duty Trucking business, parts sales and services for 35 years. I also have 8+ years of pet sitting experience. One day, I decided to embrace an opportunity to “re-invent” myself. I wanted to work with and care for animals, while pursuing my passion for excellence in customer service and utilizing my business and animal care experience. The idea of starting my own pet sitting business was a natural fit.
I am licensed, insured, bonded, certified in first aid & CPR and a member of NAPPS (National Association of Pet Sitters), the largest organization of professional pet sitters.

Hi! My name is Tina but many people call me Dog Mom. I had a doggy daycare called "Dog Mom's". But I am a Cat Mom too. I can't remember a day in my life without dogs and cats. I am a Southern California beach girl that moved here 35 years ago to get away from traffic. I love it here. My husband and I have three golden retrievers and one cat. They are our kids. I have had lots of experience with animals. I went to professional dog training school in Arizona, taught dog obedience, worked for a vet for 9 years, and a groomer for two. My husband and I own Pizza Barn and that keeps me busy, but life wouldn't be complete without caring for animals. I have loved Kelley's pet sitting services since she started it. I am so thrilled to be part of her team.

Hi! My name is JaLea, pronouced Jay-Lee! I am new to the Southfork area, but have been in the Elko area for about 5 years. I am originally from Southern NV and was raised on a ranch and have been rodeoing since I was 3. Because of that, I have taken care of horses, dogs, chickens, cats, pigs, and pretty much any other animal! I love animals, and think of my own as my kids. Born and raised in Elko, I grew up with seven siblings and many pets! I have cared for chickens, ducks, several dogs and dozens of cats! I always had a handful of critters to look after and enjoyed the precious memories. As a local artist in personalized paintings, I especially enjoy painting animals as well as caring for them. I am the proud mother of two green cheek conures, Pistachio and Arya. Pistachio is three years old and Arya just turned one in January 2020. I plan on utilizing my drafting and design degree to design my own mini aviary for my birds, in hopes of owning a few more feather babies, as well as fur babies!

Hi my name is Jenny and I would love to be your pet sitter.
From a young age I have always had animals around me as my mother enjoyed the company of many types of critters. She indulged my passion of the small furry kind. As I got older I took on more responsibility and now I share my love of animals with my husband and kids. Currently I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets and 5 fish.
To date other animals I have raised are kangaroos, a blue tongue lizard, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice (as pets), rats, a hamster, geese, chickens, pigs, turkeys, guinea fowl, cockatiels, lorikeets, other parrots, and tropical fish.

I have had and loved animals my whole life, to me they are family. I was a manager of a horse farm in upstate New York, I had the pleasure of taking care of 30 horses. I also had horses of my own, as well as chickens, cows, pigs, goats and birds. I have also worked as a pet stylist. I have had many jobs in my life but the ones with animals have been my most rewarding. Right now I have two dogs of my own, Monty, my rescue Chihuahua and my Mona, a Boston terrier.
